Today we are launching Commit--IRL, the first product to come out of Kerva. It is a small, opinionated browser extension for developers who treat their commit graph like a religion - and want the same obsession applied to their bodies.
A second heatmap, right where you already look
Once you install the extension and sign in with GitHub, your profile shows a second heatmap below the familiar green one. The new row tracks workouts, walks, runs, and any other movement you log. Same grid, same streaks, same dopamine - just for the part of you that isn't a keyboard.
Why we built it
The team builds a lot of software. We also like running, lifting, and being outside. The two activities tend to fight each other for time, and the one with the public scoreboard usually wins. So we built a public scoreboard for the other one.
"Two streaks, one identity. A quick visual check that you didn't just commit yourself into the ground." Kavan Seggie, Founder
Get it
Commit--IRL is free, open to anyone with a GitHub account, and available now from the Commit--IRL product page. Install it, log a workout, and see the second heatmap fill in.
